• Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the DOF systems or network, or attempting to breach security or authentication measures without obtaining prior authorization from the competent authority.
• Attempting to interfere with any service provided to any user, host, or network, including—but not limited to—introducing viruses to the website, overloading it, flooding it with traffic, sending promotional messages, spamming, or crashing the site.
• Sending unsolicited emails to the website, including promotional or advertising materials, or falsifying any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any email or newsgroup posting.
• Using the DOF website in any manner to send emails or any other materials from or on behalf of the website, or by referencing it, impersonating the DOF name or identity, or transmitting content that includes defamation, insult, or false information attributed to the DOF without authorization.

Any violation of these rules or attempts to breach the system or network may subject the perpetrator to civil and criminal liability. DOF will investigate any such incidents and take legal action against those responsible.

 

DOF shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exceptional damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website.

 

Intellectual Property Rights

 

All materials and content published on this website—including, without limitation, text, data, images, logos, files, and designs—are the exclusive property of the Department and are protected under the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.

 

Users are strictly prohibited from copying, reproducing, publishing, modifying, translating, distributing, displaying, or creating derivative works from any part of this website’s content, or using such content on any other platform, system, or medium, without obtaining the DOF prior written consent.

Any unauthorized use constitutes an infringement of intellectual property rights and exposes the violator to legal accountability.

 

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

 

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in Abu Dhabi. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
